Set the grind once. Return to it exactly.
The patented stepless dial moves the burrs along a 1.5 mm thread, so adjustment is continuous, not stepped. No clicks to count, and nothing shifts from one shot to the next. Dial in your espresso, go coarser for filter, and come back to your espresso setting exactly. Resolution is 0.01 mm per scale mark.
What you grind is what you brew.
A magnetic funnel and a near vertical grind path leave under 0.1 g behind. No stale grounds from yesterday, and a dose that weighs what you set, every time. Lift the funnel to brush the chamber clean in seconds, no tools.
Clean flow. No mess, no motor.
The anti-static rotor pulls the charge out of the grounds, so they drop loose into the dosing cup, no clumps, no clinging. A 1:1 direct drive turns about 18 g of espresso in roughly 25 seconds, and all 14.5 kg of it stay put like they are bolted down.
Two builds. One grinder.
Series 1 is the grinder, the dial, the burrs and the Ground Shaker. Series 1 GBW adds the NECCST Scale, a 249,00 € instrument in its own right, for grind by weight from a single tool. The Series 1 GBW is the only manual grinder with a true built-in scale, not an accessory clamped on, but a barista scale that docks into the base.

What owners say.
The Series 1 is the complete mechanical grinder. The Series 1 GBW adds the NECCST Scale, which docks magnetically into the base and lets you grind by weight to the tenth of a gram. The scale is the only difference, and you can add it later by buying it on its own.
Everything from espresso to French press. The stepless adjustment moves continuously, so you set a fine espresso, turn coarser for filter or French press, and find your way back exactly.
About 25 seconds for 18 g of espresso. The 1:1 direct drive and the large flywheel keep it quick and smooth, with no motor and no heat at the burrs.
Less than 0.1 g of coffee stays behind in the grinder. What you put in is what lands in your dosing cup, so old grounds never mix into your next shot and you can switch beans without waste.
Both. Fill the hopper with a full bag, or single-dose shot by shot, whichever fits your workflow.
Lift off the magnetic funnel and brush the chamber out in seconds, no tools needed. For a deeper clean, the burr comes out with the included hex key.
Two years within Europe, one year outside Europe.
Made to measure. Made to last.
The grinder, the dial, the burrs, and the Scale if you want it. Designed in Munich, every measure documented, yours for a very long time.
